After being transformed by the birth of my son 12 years ago, I felt passionate about helping other couples on their path to an empowered birth.  I made the switch from a fulfilling career in environmental education to an even more fulfilling career helping people find their own birth mojos in pregnancy, birth, and as new parents.

As a childbirth educator and birth doula it is my job to help surround you with confidence, support, evidence-based information, trust, and love.  I am particularly passionate about engaging and educating birth partners and honoring the intimacy of the birth process. This is one of the reasons I share my love of the rebozo with my students and doula clients. 

When I'm not doing birth-y things, I'm likely to be whipping up a homemade something, plotting my next camping trip, rearranging my furniture, carpooling to soccer, playing baby dolls, or working in my garden.
